  Mystic Tree Studios started out in a small bedroom in Detroit Michigan in 1999. It was founded by Dan Bryant & Casey Navarre, both respected musicians in their field. Bryant had already recorded serveral classical piano albums with acclaimed Producer and Engineer Dave Thompson of Toronto Ontario; Casey was involved in many music projects, helped produce many albums and provided the enthusiasm. They started recording rock bands and church music using just a simple computer, a cheap microphone and a midi keyboard. As simple as the setup was, they were praised by many for their great instrumentation capture and concepts of music. What began as just a simple pastime blew up into the production it is today. Both fueled by their obsession with great quality and capture went on to purchase much better equipment, learn how to use it, and fine tune their skills continually not only as musicians, but as engineers. They spent time with platinum mixing engineers, various genre producers, visited some pro audio expos and schools and finally setup business as a professional full production studio.

  In 2006, the equipment was setup and ready to roll out for clients. Dan moved to Utah and setup operations there and started to build clientele. The focus has always been the music. Bryant has written and arranged music with symphonic orchestration for over 14 years, providing most artists with a lot of great keys to writing great music, having killer accompaniment, and helping people go from a beginner to a great songwriter in simple steps. Although many artists like to come in and simply record, "he has great input and it's extremely helpful having him on the sidelines to keep you going or just do a better job"*.

  The studio was built on the concept of having equipment and options that are ahead of it's time, giving you every possibility of sound and expansion. Nothing is impossible. A lot of studios cater to a rich population and don't offer possibilities for everyone. Our focus is getting YOUR music out there. It doesn't matter if you want to record a platinum album, or a family Christmas CD...we have options for both parties.
